The more passionate we got about frozen yogurt and making it ourselves, the more frustrating it was to come back to London and find nothing of comparable quality. The founders talked about setting up Samba Swirl in 2005, long before the first frozen yogurt shops opened in London.
Visiting California made it a reality, when we fell in love with the concept of self service. The communities in California know there's no better way to enjoy frozen yogurt than having fun with the machines and making it yourself. Our quest from the start was understanding what makes the highest quality frozen yogurt, and that lead us from California to the home of gelato in Italy in our desire to continually develop and refine our innovative yogurt range.
